Online Ads may be Fake

It sure seems dishonourable and disingenuous for online marketers to use a fake name to steer Internet Surfers to a website to buy something while using a fake name. Some justify their deception by stating that it is a "pen name" but is that really sufficient, as it is still a fake name and trickery tactics that are being deployed?

It seems especially problematic when that Internet Surfer or potential buyer believes they are going there based on information that a real person gave them, such as an article on a blog or one that appeared in an online newsletter.

Advertising goods and services online is actually a viable business in itself. Affiliate programmes, advertising keyword campaigns and pay per click advertising are all important strategies in driving web traffic - or potential consumers - to a website. For this reason, online sellers in particular may be tempted to stretch or slightly distort the truth regarding the pricing or description of their goods and services. However, we should be aware that online traders, just like their high street counterparts, are under a legal obligation to provide their consumers with non-misleading advertisements.

I never actually thought of to share this topic with everyone till i randomly read an article on Wall Street Journal, entitled: "Beware online job ads: They may be fake." (Tuesday, February 17, 2009. VOL.XXXIII NO.117) The headline abruptly triggers me to discuss this issue so everyone is alert of the mischief it might cause.

It is important that we understand these things and stay out of trouble and out of the gray area of the World Wide Web.

a) Yes.Google had caused the lost.
b) Yes.Google should only responsible partially.
c) No.It was not Google's fault.
d) No.It was an unexpected incident.

The analysis result shown that :
(1) 40% people voted for "b) Yes.Google should only responsible partially."
(2) 30% people voted for "c) No.It was not Google's fault.
(3) 20% people voted for "d) No.It was an unexpected incident."
(4) 10% people voted for ''a) Yes.Google had caused the lost."

Google Issue Analysis Result
Hence, this mean that most of the people thinks Google should not fully responsible for this issue but partially. However, there are many thinking that the incident was not Google's fault. In my opinion, the most perfect system will have its weakness too. Thus, i feel that it was not Google's fault but Google should be responsible to it partially to those who affected by the incident to make others confident and continue to use Google's service.

Analysis Result

Good evening! I hope everyone had an awesome Valentine celebration!!

Here we are again analysing the result for our last poll. Thank you, readers whom cast their votes. =)

Is Online Advertising an Excellent Money Making Way?Poll Question: Is online advertising application, excellent money making way?

Votes are picked in the midst of 4 multiple choice answers:

Answer 1: YES.

Answer 2:
NO. THESE ONLINE ADVERTISING APPLICATIONs SOUNDED VERY ALIENATED.

Answer 3: YES, WITH PLENTY OF RESEARCH.

Answer 4: NO.

And, the result was, Answer 1 (YES), 3 (NO. THESE ONLINE ADVERTISING APPLICATIONS SOUNDED VERY ALIENATED) and 4 (NO) split equal votes, 20% apiece. Whereas Answer 2 (NO. THESE ONLINE ADVERTISING APPLICATIONs SOUNDED VERY ALIENATED) had seized the highest votes, 40%.

Yes. The conclusion was very evident that many people (in Malaysia I supposed) is still very novel, bizarre, blur, and might only have very vague impression on what precisely does an online application works, to bring us funds. One of the reader as well question, how much "PPC" pay per click. One adorable question, which we will discuss in our coming post this week. The trend is still dawdling in the market.
